On June 25, Vihula Manor, operated by Unique Hotels, will organize the Old & Vintage Car Day which will feature the Spanish car club Antic Car Club de Catalunya with their 1920s and 1930s cars. Cafés and restaurants, bicycle and boat rental and the largest minigolf course of the Baltics will be open. The event is free of charge for everyone.
The traditional Vihula Manor Old & Vintage Car Day has been organized by the manor since 2012. In 2012, Vihula Manor hosted the world’s oldest Rolls-Royce club, the 20-Ghost Club, and the Virtual Old Technology Club. In the Manor Courtyard, over 40 classic and vintage cars from different years were on display, including 18 gorgeous Rolls-Royces from the iconic 1913 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost to the 1930s Rolls-Royce Phantom. In 2014, Vihula Manor was visited by the participants of the 6th annual three-day General Laidoner’s Memorial vintage car tour with their galant classic and vintage cars. This year, Vihula will be visited by the Spanish car club Antic Car Club de Catalunya with their 1920s and 1930s vintage cars. Vintage bicycles will also be on display.
According to Liina Pärlin, the Group Director of Marketing at Unique Hotels, the 800-year old Vihula Manor is the perfect place to organize a vintage and classic car day. “Vihula Manor also has a couple of unique cars. Old cars, just like old manors, touch the soul and they have a lot more character and classically stylish finesse than any modern car. We are glad that Vihula Manor will be visited by the Spanish car club Antic Car Club de Catalunya and anyone who wishes to, can come and get acquainted with their 1920s and 1930s cars,” Liina Pärlin said.
At 12 PM, the Vihula Manor Old & Vintage Car Day will commence with an outdoor exhibition of the cars. All lovers of old technology have the unique opportunity to come and display their own old friend and to take a look at others. At 1 PM, a gripping and exciting car game at Lahemaa will begin, which all owners of vintage cars (year of release by 1970 the latest) are invited to participate in.
So, already on this Saturday, June 25, all car lovers are invited to Vihula Manor, which is located an hour’s drive from Tallinn, where there is fun to be had for the whole day. “In addition to seeing all the cars, the guests can play a round on the largest minigolf course in the Baltics, visit the animals in the Eco-Farm and the Vodka Distillery, discover the surroundings by bicycle, take a boat ride on Mustoja River and take part of an exciting manor tour filled with legends and stories of the history and the people of the manor,” Liina Pärlin added.
