Originating in Denmark in 1994, Green Key is today one of the leading environmental certification programmes in tourism, represented in nearly 60 countries worldwide. In Estonia, the label has been awarded since 2001, and Vihula Manor has held it since 2011.

The guide evaluates properties across the Nordic and Baltic regions using a consistent methodology, focusing on guest experience, service quality, and overall standard. With 85 points out of 100, Vihula Manor demonstrates strong alignment with international hospitality standards and maintains a solid position among Estonia’s leading hotels.
