Vihula Manor offers a diverse selection of museums that open the door to the fascinating history of the manor and its surroundings. Here you can discover the heritage of vodka and spirit production, see a collection of vintage cars, and experience the story of the Water Mill, one of the best-preserved working watermills in Estonia. Each museum tells its own part of the rich story of Vihula Manor and offers the opportunity to experience the manor’s cultural heritage from different perspectives.
Vodka museum
Vihula Manor Vodka Museum is located in the manor’s former Vodka Distillery building, first mentioned in written sources around the year 1800.
The Vodka Museum exhibition tells the story of the history of spirit and vodka production and the development of vodka production in Estonia and Vihula Manor.
Vihula Manor Vodka Museum is open every day 10:00-19:00 and access is free for guests staying at the manor.
Vintage Cars Museum
The vintage cars museum is open every day 10:00-20:00.
Water Mill Visitor Centre
The Water Mill has been fully renovated and is now one of the best-preserved working water mills in Estonia. The old Water Mill today houses the Water Mill café with a summer terrace and enchanting views of the Mustoja river, as well as a museum reflecting the history of both Vihula Manor and the water mill. Here you will also find the visitor centre, where you can get information about the leisure and entertainment options available at Vihula Manor.
